Classic Menswear for the NY Fashion Week

2Happy Valentine’s day everyone. I hope your’e all having a nice day. I wish I have my beautiful wife here to spend time with, but maybe next year. Well anyway I just want to share with you one of the outfit I wore at the fashion week in New York. 3Attending the Fashion Week was a big deal for my blog. It was part of my goal after a year to experience it to see how it is in the world of mens fashion, the culture, the global trends and to meet people. It was indeed a wonderful feeling and I know I got to do this to share more for you guys. Now going to the fashion week i know what i’m representing, it’s us, the Filos, that we also have a great sense of style. But of course I have to stick with my personal style, leaning towards the formal look, a more classic way of menswear. The suit came from a good friend and a menswear designer, Joey Espiritu, then the inspiration came from the 1950’s look which I’m very fascinated with. And probably because of those two, i got lucky to be part of the Sunday style issue of the famous newspaper in New York, The New York Times. I was very delighted when my friend Denny (a Filo blogger from NY) dropped the news to me. Anyway bye for now coz I need to sleep, I gotta fight this jet lag to get back to my regular sleeping routine. So guys stay tuned for more of my experiences in New York and the Fashion Week. 4 5 6 7 9 10 11 12
