A Filo Dapper in NYFW

6Hey everyone, how’s weekend? I hope you had a great one! Anyway here is another post for you of one of my outfits in the New York Men’s Fashion Week. And I wanna share to you how my day goes during the busy schedule of fashion week.

Alright, so for the first day of the event I wore a 3-piece plaid suit by Joey Espiritu, paired it with a camel coat from H&M and matched it with a burgundy coloured leather shoes from Salvatore Mann.

Now attending the fashion week may look easy and glamorous but it’s not a walk in the park. When I was arranging my accommodations in NY, I decided to stay in Manhattan so it would be easy for me to go around downtown and the venues of the shows but i was wrong. Everyday for 4 days I leave the hotel 2 hours ahead of the scheduled show coz a lot of walking, getting lost in direction and confusing subway trips happen before I get to the venue, but don’t get me wrong i was having the time of my life. Now here is the other hard part, the schedule of the shows are very close to each other that you have to rush going out of the show and quickly take a cab just to make it to the next show and travel around 7kms in the busy Manhattan. Usually i pay around $15-$20 bucks per trip, to get to the next show and it happened around 3-4 times a day for 4 days…. it was definitely a great experience.
